ePA-Survey
Since 2021, everyone with statutory health insurance has the right to an electronic patient record (ePA). After almost one year of the ePA, the CHI WG conducted a survey to gather the expectations of citizens and their opinions on the opportunities and obstacles to the implementation of the electronic patient record. We are currently evaluating this survey and will keep you regularly updated here.
Within the framework of the GMDS annual conference, the working group organised a discussion panel on the topic "The electronic patient file in Germany - often desired, often discussed, but hardly used? How do we reach citizens, patients and health care providers?"
However, as the GMDS annual meeting ( 21st-25th August 2022) has unfortunately had to be switched to an online format due to the sharp increase in incidence values in Schleswig-Holstein, we will also not be able to hold the panel as planned. We are currently planning how and where an alternative event could be facilitated.
